My birthday was a couple of weeks ago, but Feb 18th is my blog’s first anniversary! A year ago I set out on this voyage, not knowing what to expect, and since then I’ve interacted with some great people and learned a lot about libraries and the Web. I promise I won’t get too emotional on you, but I wanted to acknowledge my first year as a blogger and to thank everyone who has supported me along the way!
In other news, I had a lot of fun as the photographer for the McGill CLA Student Chapter Freedom to Read photo shoot today. Here I am, posing with a fantastic novel – A Clockwork Orange:

Congratulations on the year anniversary… I started a libraryland blog a couple months back and it has been slow-going, but somehow still exciting! Most of the library blogs I have been following are much to specific – young adult literature, anime/manga, techie-techsters…and I’ve been looking for some to interact with that are much more fluid and ameobic. :)

that picture is funny (saw it on S&M) because that is the most beat up copy of a book I’ve ever seen that appears to still be circulating. the spine is just tape! sorry, but I need to weed that book and order a new copy. :)
Effing: you’d better put the replacement copy on the shelf before weeding this one – if it just disappears, it might look like censorship!
